This week marks the beginning of NFL free agency, the period where rumors and speculation surrounding the top free agents finally become reality. Every year we see top talent seek a new challenge in a new city like last year when we saw future Hall of Fame QB Tom Brady leave New England after 20 years and win a Superbowl in his first season with Tampa Bay.

Right now the talk of the off-season is the potential trades of a pair of franchise QBs (Deshaun Watson & Russell Wilson) but that should not take away from the talent that is available this year and the amount of money that will be spent this week and beyond. Some of the top names this year include WR Kenny Golladay, TE Hunter Henry, pass rusher Shaquil Barrett and S Anthony Harris along with a laundry list of other top free agents that will either stay home or find a new one. Check out some of the top agents below as I list where they could go next season:

Chris carson  |  rb  - seattle seahawks

Kenny golladay  |  wr  - new York jets

The New York Jets have lacked a true #1 WR for some time and whether they stick with Sam Darnold at QB or draft his replacement, the offense needs a to-go weapon and Golladay can be that guy.

Will fuller  |  wr  - green bay packers

Juju smith-schuster  |  wr  - new England patriots

Corey davis  |  wr  - Baltimore ravens

Jonnu smith  |  te  - new York jets

Hunter henry  |  te  - Jacksonville jaguars

In roughly 2 months, Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence will be the starting QB of the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is a fact. Now if the Jaguars plan to develop Lawrence into the franchise QB he can be, they need to surround him with more talent. Enter Hunter Henry. The Charger TE would step in day 1 as not only the starter for the Jaguars but could end but being a to-go weapon and a security blanket for Lawrence like we’ve seen with other top TEs including Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz.

Trent Williams  |  ot  - san Francisco 49ers

Joe thuney  |  og  - Cincinnati bengals

Shaquil barrett  |  edge  - Miami dolphins

Last off-season the Dolphins signed former Patriot Kyle Van Noy in hopes he could bring some pass rush experience to the defense but that signing fizzled out after just one season. Adding a pass rusher like Shaquil Barrett would add explosiveness off the edge and would give Miami that much needed help alongside Christian Wilkins & Emmanuel Ogbah.

Trey Hendrickson  |  edge  - Cincinnati bengals

Matt judon  |  edge  - new York jets

Patrick Peterson  |  cb  - Arizona cardinals

Anthony harris  |  s  - Indianapolis colts

Many thought the Indianapolis Colts had a star in the making at S when they drafted Malik Hooker in 2017. During his four year stinct with the Colts, Hooker showed flashes of brilliance, but injuries held him back from reaching his full potential. With Hooker likely headed elsewhere, the Colts could add standout S Anthony Harris and not only be a tackle machine in the secondary but be a leader with star defenders DeForest Bucker & Darious Leonard for the foreseeable future.

John johnson  |  s  - Jacksonville jaguars
