The 2022 Senior Bowl is here! Every year we see some of college football’s best seniors display their talents against other top talent and some make great strides on their draft stock while others go in the opposite direction. The QBs are usually the topic of the week but there are a ton of talent young prospects who should be on every team’s watch list. Here is a list of my favorite prospects this year, not including the QBs:

BRIAN ROBINSON | RB | ALABAMA

ALEC PIERCE | WR | CINCINNATI

ROMEO DOUBS | WR | NEVADA

ISAIAH LIKELY | TE | COASTAL CAROLINA

The Senior Bowl class is stacked with TE talent and with eyes on Colorado State’s Trey McBride, Coastal Carolina’s Isaiah Likely is an interesting prospect to watch. The 6-4, 240 lb. receiving threat has a smaller build for a typical TE but is a dynamic playmaker and could be used in a similar way to current Giants’ TE Evan Engram.

TREVOR PENNING | OT | northern iowa

DARIAN KINNARD | OT | KENTUCKY

DANIEL FAALELE | OT | MINNESOTA

Minnesota’s mammoth OT Daniel Faalele is one of the biggest player’s we’ve seen come into the draft in a long time. Faalele is a 6-8, 380 lb. prospect who has been stout on the line for PJ Fleck’s offense and with a solid Senior Bowl week could find himself in the late first, early second round.

CAMERON THOMAS | DL | SAN DIEGO STATE

One of my favorite lineman in the year’s draft is San Diego State’s Cameron Thomas. This Senior Bowl prospect had a solid 2021 campaign racking up over 11 sacks and making a name for himself in the final few weeks of the college football season. While Thomas may not be the flashiest player, he has been stable presence for San Diego State and should have a similar path in the NFL.

MYJAI SANDERS | EDGE | CINCINNATI

Before the beginning of the 2021 college football season, Cincinnati defender Myjai Sanders was a name to watch for the 2022 NFL Draft and was on the path to becoming a first round pick. While Cincinnati had a historic season and made it all the way to the college football playoffs, Sanders had himself a down season and lost some of that hype. Even though he didn’t have a great year statistically, Sanders still has a ton of upside and with a big frame (6-5, 250+ lbs.) he could make some noise during the Senior Bowl and reclaim some of that 2020-2021 hype.

JERMAINE JOHNSON | EDGE | FLORIDA STATE

KINGSLEY ENAGBARE | EDGE | SOUTH CAROLINA

TROY ANDERSON | LB | MONTANA STATE

One of the biggest question marks this Senior Bowl week is Montana State LB Troy Anderson. The converted QB has not had a lot of time on the defensive side of the ball but watch some highlights and it is easy to see the traits of upside he has at LB. With a good week against other top college prospects and under the development of the right NFL team, Anderson could become a fun project.

COBY BRYANT | CB | CINCINNATI

ROGER MCCREARY | CB | AUBURN
