CHICAGO BEARS- BRIAN DABOLL | BILLS OC

The Chicago Bears need a coach that can right the ship, especially on the offensive side of the ball, and will focus on developing their young QB Justin Fields. Bills OC Brian Daboll has done wonders with the Bills offense and has helped QB Josh Allen become one of the league’s best passers. The connection just makes sense.

DENVER BRONCOS- DAN QUINN | COWBOYS DC

Denver fired their defensive minded coach Vic Fangio and could look to replace him with another one in Cowboy’s DC Dan Quinn. Quinn took full control of the Cowboy’s defense and morphed them into one of the league’s best defenses including one of the top scoring defenses headlined by star rookie LB Micah Parsons. If Denver can bring stability to the QB position and pair him with a great defensive coach in Quinn, the Broncos could quickly become a playoff contender for the foreseeable future.

HOUSTON TEXANS- Jonathan Gannon | Eagles DC

The Houston Texans are in the midst of a complete rebuild after firing HC David Culley only one year into his tenure. With more questions looming over this franchise, one name that seems to be connected with the opening is Eagles DC Jonathan Gannon. Gannon has been mentioned as a coach who might be better suited for a HC role than a coordinator. Maybe the Texans will choose to go in another direction but for now, Gannon may be their best option.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS- byron leftwich | buccaneers oc

Jacksonville seemed to be on the rise when they hired Urban Meyer last year but that experiment certainly did not work and now they are searching once again for another coach. Former Jaguar’s QB and Buccaneers’ OC Byron Leftwich seems like a perfect fit. Not only does Leftwich know the organization and understand the culture of the city and the team but he would be able to work with former #1 pick Trevor Lawrence and help revamp the Jaguars offense.

MIAMI DOLPHINS- vance joseph | cardinals dc

The biggest surprise of the NFL coaching carousel this year has been the firing of Brian Flores from the Dolphins as they attempt to re-tool their staff and develop around former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa. In an effort to re-tool the teams culture, Cardinals DC and former Dolphins coach, Vance Joseph, seems like a good fit. Joseph has had success with the Cardinals defense this year and it would make sense to see him reunite in Miami but this time as the leader of the team.

NEW YORK GIANTS- Brian Flores | Former Dolphins HC

The Giants moved from Joe Judge after a disappointing few years and should be a franchise that looks for a coach with experience and can bring an identity to one side of the ball. Former Dolphins HC Brian Flores could be a good fit for this opening. The former HC is a tough leader who would bring a culture to the Giants organization that the team desperately needs.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS- ERIC BIENIEMY | CHIEFS OC

Minnesota moved on from veteran HC Mike Zimmer and decided that they want to move in a fresh new direction and Chiefs’ OC Eric Bieniemy could be a viable option. Bieniemy has worked underneath one of the best coaches in the NFL in Andy Reid so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Bieniemy become the next coach in Reid’s coaching tree to get a HC gig. One thing to watch for this team as they search for both a new GM & HC is what they plan to do at QB which could certainly impact their search for a HC, including Bieniemy.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS- TBD

The Las Vegas Raiders are the unknown team in the HC search because there seems to be a sense that they could stick with their current interim HC Rich Bisaccia but have also begun to request interviews for other candidates. There is also some that believe Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh could be an option for the Raiders. Until Bisaccia is officially done with the team and they move on with other options, it is nearly impossible to gauge their future.
